Our establishment
Our two-star hotel is located in the historical centre of the town, directly on the main square.
It consists of two lots joined by a veranda, overlooking the courtyard, comfortable and cozy outdoor restaurant in the summer season.
The first building of the late '800, gathers the bar, reception and a small restaurant.
Next to them the lounge with typical fireplace and television available to customers.
The second lot, completely renovated, houses the bedrooms and the main room.
Gerola Alta
Charming mountain village immersed in the woods of Valgerola, in the regional park of the Orobie Valtellinesi, where tranquility and landscape are ideal conditions for a relaxing holiday. The village, lying in a basin at the foot of the mountains, opens around the stream Bitto, which in summer turns into a pleasant and cool beach to enjoy the sun and refresh in the crystal clear water. With its small tributaries, the river is also a good territory for trout fishing enthusiasts. Ideal starting point for countless excursions, with seven alpine lakes of rare beauty, Gerola is surrounded by small hamlets, Castello, Laveggiolo, Ravizze, Case di Sopra, Fenile, Valle and Nasoncio, some of which still preserve
traces of antiquity, to see and appreciate, in the architecture of the time that was, with the public "lavatoi" and churches, bulwarks of a rich and deep religiosity. In the mountains around the village, during the summer season, the alpine pastures are alive again, cradle of the famous "Bitto" cheese, whose production, strictly controlled by a specific disciplinary, is limited from June to September.
In Pescegallo, a hamlet located 5 km from the hotel, during the winter season, there is a ski area with a ski school. A small but excellent area with slopes of varying difficulty and beautiful snow until late spring.
